Greg has been associated with Hirons & Associates for eleven years. He has managed and/or participated in most of the university projects that Hirons & Associates, Inc. has conducted in the past eleven years. These projects include original building componentization, annual updates and/or equipment inventories.

Greg has been with the firm since 1992. He was the project manager for the fixed equipment portion of the major study conducted at the University of Michigan . This fixed equipment study was conducted on approximately 54 building that totaled about 14,000 rooms. Greg was also the project manager for the University of Washington-Seattle on approximately 40 buildings, The Ohio State University-57 buildings, New Mexico State University , University of Iowa , Iowa State University, Penn State University-60 buildings, Boston University , University of Kansas , Kansas State, University of North Carolina , University of South Carolina and many other institutions.

Greg has a full understanding of the delicate nature of the university environment and respect for the work being conducted in the labs that he is responsible for inventorying. He has always used the utmost diplomacy when attaining entrance and fielding questions from the university personnel.

Greg also has a complete understanding of the best methodology for locating, verifying, and allocating the depreciation for the moveable equipment, the Fixed Equipment and Componentization/Depreciation studies. This knowledge has made Greg a tremendous asset to the firm. His overall knowledge and personal experience of project management has lead Greg to excel in management of multiple projects at one time.

Greg is affiliated with the following professional institutional organizations: SECA – WECA – NECA and is a member of NACUBO.

Prior to and in addition to working with Hirons & Associates Greg has been in the construction industry for over 20 years. Greg was/is the owner/operator of Sheahan Construction and he was the owner/operator of Central Home Inspection Consultants. His experiences in the building field range from actual hands on construction to general contracting where he has been responsible for as many as seven projects at one time. His professional affiliations in the construction industry are: ASHI – candidate member and a HBA member.
