Doug Magee is a Senior Manager with Hirons & Associates, Inc. ("HAI"). Doug's consulting experience includes the development and implementation of complex capital asset management and depreciation solutions, supporting various types of public entities, including Colleges and Universities, Public and Private School Systems, Hospitals and Extended Care Facilities, Utility Authorities, and City, State and Local Governments. Engagement objectives have included the development of property management and financial accounting initiatives supporting client requirements, and internal, external and Federal and State audit standards.

 

Doug has over thirty-five years of experience in the Appraisal and Valuation Industry.  He has extensive experience in establishing fixed asset property records for insurance and cost accounting, supporting GASB 34/35, FASB-93, GAAP/GAAFR requirements, and Facilities and Administration (F&A) cost recovery supporting the OMB A-21 and A-110 cost reimbursement regulations. He has been a speaker at numerous regional and national conferences on property appraisal and asset management services.
